Back & Forth

First and foremost, my deepest condolences to all of the family that are affected by the massive landslide that happen in Bukit Antarabangsa last week and also I would like to thank everyone who called and messaged me regarding it especially Fatin, Zam/Lin, Inur, Aini, and the rest of it. Alhamdullilah, my house is not affected. Apart from that incident, a lot of things has happen for the past two weeks time. Reconciliation, tough decission, tendered my resignation at Pancake Parlour and the most important thing is, I've embarked on a new journey all the way to Brisbane from Melbourne, driving. Yup, that's 2,500km of driving to be exact and it is only one way.

Melbourne - Canberra - Sydney - Tuntable Creek - Brisbane - Gold Coast - Melbourne

IMGP3234
The three of us.

IMGP2930
Day 1 -Melbourne. We are planning to cover 4 states in 6 days. Victoria, ACT (Australia Capital Teritory), New South Wales and finally Queensland.

IMGP3176
Day 1 - NSW. First stop, Halbrook, the town with the infamous Oberon class submarine. At first, it is quite weird to have this full scale submarine in a middle of nowhere (the nearest seaport is located 400km away) but there is an interesting story behind it and I will tell about it later on.

IMGP3185
Day 1 - ACT. Canberra, there's nothing much to do in this city except visiting the Parliment House.

IMGP3203
Day 1 - ACT. Really resemble Putrajaya back home.

IMGP3273
Day 2 - NSW. Next stop, Sydney and this time around it is Eidul Adha.

IMGP3599
Day 2 - NSW. The city at night.

IMGP3616
Day 2 - NSW. Opera House. The visit to Sydney won't be complete without visiting this place at least once.

IMGP3629
Day 3 - NSW. On our way to my Auntie's place in Tuntable Creek. At first, we decided to spend the night in Sydney but during the last minutes, we changed our mind and opted to straight away drive there (It took us nearly 12 hours of driving plus some rest to get there). Notice something handy??? Yup, that's my GPS over there. Really reliable.

IMGP3771
Day 3 - NSW. Finally we are here. Just 45 minutes from Lismore.

IMGP3717
Day 3 - NSW. Strolling in the garden.

IMGP4007
Day 4 - Queensland. Brisbane, we really underestimate this city. It is bigger that what we had thought before.

IMGP4031
Day 4 - Queensland. Southbank, a nice place to unwind.

IMGP4243
Day 5 - Queensland. A trip to Movie World. Felt like a kid again.

IMGP4251
Day 5 - Queensland. Gold Coast at night.

IMGP4275
Day 6 - Queensland. This time around, we took a flight home. One way of driving is hard enough but to return to Melbourne driving??? It would be suicidal.

P/s My mom is here for the graduation.

Walking home

This actually occurred 2 weeks ago when Malim and me went to the city to buy some stuff for my camera. I need his guidance since I'm new with all of this DSLR stuff and he really knows all of the shops here like they were at his fingertips. Since he is not that keen to ride my bike we decided to go there by train instead.

IMGP4380_3008x2000
Finished scouting for my stuff.

IMGP4387_3008x2000
Then we decided to walk home. Yeah, it's a good idea. Been awhile since I last do it, furthermore it's winter so shouldn't be a problem (Last time was during summer so it's really freaking hot).

IMGP4390_3008x2000
Need to burn those extra calories.

IMGP4404_3008x2000
Cute little thing.

IMGP4432_3008x2000
Stop for a second here at Domain Oval.

IMGP4415_3008x2000
It's getting late.

Fawkner Park at Night.

P/s I'm studying for my 'last' paper this Wednesday. Really my last exam for the whole course. Next semester I just need to concentrate on my Master's project... No more burning the midnight oil after this, I hope...

I'm not feeling well

Finally, after weeks of hot weather (i mean, everyday the maximum temperature was like 38ºC to 40ºC ), today everything started to change. Even though it was still summer, the temperature has decreased to a minimum of 13ºC. Haha, luckily it happen on Wednesday, since i got no class that day, might as well spend the whole day doing what i always been best doing...That is, Jenjalan/Merayau or whatever you want to call it.
Now I'm back at home and i think i just caught myself with a fever. Stupid me, because yesterday the weather was still hot, i assume it will just be some slight decrease in the temperature but instead the temperature went down to 17ºC. Huhu, without the proper attire, i end up freezing all the way throughout the journey. Stubborn as i am, the journey must go on. Haha, if this is the price i have to pay for my stubbornness, it's really worth every single minute of it (not to mention sore bum).

The temperature now is 15ºC. How about tomorrow???
Melbourne is known as a place with 4 seasons in a day.
The weather is really unpredictable.

Nampak macam dekat. But it took me around 2 1/2 hours of traveling, just to get there. Tu tak campur waktu sesat lagi...

Fortunately i got some map handy and unfortunately, my navigator run out of battery.
Arghh, tekanan perasaan sekejap.

Met with these guys on the way up. It remind me of my bike back home. Huhu, really miss it right now.

At least now i have this, great on the pocket and it got good fuel consumption. What more should i ask, right?

"Brader, nak join korang bleh???"

Too quiet, not even a single car. You will definitely landed in trouble if something wrong happen here.

"What is that???"

Only for professional. Haha, really dangerous trying to snap pictures while riding the bike.

Now i know why it's being called 'Mad Ass'. huhu, i rather call it my 'Poor Ass' or 'Sore Ass'. That is what you get after riding it for 5 hours plus.
Haha, my ass still hurts even when i'm writing this.

Finally, I'm home. What a great day today.

p/s I will post other pictures in my next posting. Too tired. Baru telan 2 biji panadol. Looks like my fever is getting worst. I really don't want to skip tomorrow classes. Yup, time to go to bed. Hopefully it will get better after a long night sleep. Gudnite.
