T.W.O. Two Wheel Only

Melbourne International Motorcycle Show. My second time here. This is the only time when everyone got the opportunities to have a closer glimpse at their dream machines, me included. Lots of new model are displayed apart from the usual MotoGP's bike. This exhibition ran back to back with the Armageddon Expo and that is among the reason why I end up wasting my whole weekend drooling around these place.

The Doctor's bike. He didn't won with this bike though.


Pedrosa's bike. Got his name engraved on the front tyre.


A gixxer. All tuned up and ready for race.


Based on the K8 series. Simply magnificent.

Honda Fireblade, the superbike of the year.


Yamaha R1 2009 model. Love em or hate em design.


A cruiser type of bike. I'm not into it.


Harley, to much bling, bling... or should i say, chrome.


Victory, another American company.


ATV, short for All Terrain Vehicle. I should try this one.


The legendary Vespa. Just pick your colour.


I'd rather be caught dead than been seen riding it.

KTM Duke. Hey, it got the same head design as my MadAss.


This bike is huge.


What's in a name???


Kawasaki Ninja. A ZX-10 I reckon.


ZZR-1400. Yup, a massive 1400cc engine. Bigger displacement than any Perodua car ever built (minus the Rusa 1.6).


A Supermotard. I really like the design.


MV Augusta. The company that Proton used to own.


A masterpiece. The Italian really knows how to design a bike.


The first bike???

P/s Preparing for my final exam (my really final/last/no more after this/finally/kaput exam) tomorrow. Just finished my Master's Project report and got one more final hurdle before I settled everything, the Research Method report.

4 cylinder, 16 valve, DOHC, USD fork, 4-1 exhaust system, sweet.


Maximum speed before I chicken out, 240 km/h. At that speed, if anything goes wrong, it's fatal. (Pic - Somewhere in Malacca)

NOW

1 cylinder, 2 valve, digital speedometer, led tail light, under-seat exhaust system, quite sweet.


Maximum speed with it, 100 km/h. Can't go any faster because the bike is really heavy.

A Beemer Fan

Nik. He is really and ardent fan of Beemer. From clothing to lid and to his bike, everything got to be a beemer.


BMW R1200 GS, yup a 1200cc bike. Bigger engine capacity than most compact car available.
"Care to ride???" he asked me and I declined the offer straight away. It is a new bike, it is really an expensive one and I've never ridden a bike with engine capacity bigger than 750cc.


She's really a monster compared to the other bikes around it.


This is really something to motivate me to work harder (ya, I want a new bike too).

P/s I don't know whether to laugh or not. I got a beemer too. It's been handed down to me if I go back...

First Anniversary - My MadAss 125

I bought this bike exactly on the 13th August 2007.


Actually, I had my eyes on a Yamaha scooter but when the day arrived for me to make the necessary payment, the bike were already been sold.


Things happen for a reason, in the end I managed to get something better.


My Sachs MadAss 125...


Twin 'projector' head lamp... digital speedometer... manual transmission, front & rear disk brake... LED tail light, under-seat muffler... mono-shock suspension system... and best of all, it got a 4-stroke engine which is definitely a fuel saver.


Had with an accident once, when I accidentally skidded into the tram line during a rainy day and it cost me a bomb to fix it.


There's some ups and downs between me and my bike.

P/s Nik just got himself a new bike today.

The Great Escape - Phillip Island

The journey to Phillip Island is something that I'll definitely remember for the rest of my life. I've been riding for quite some time now and nothing prepared me for this... The wind...
I've overlooked on that particular thing. Despite the sun shine brightly on that faithful day, the wind seems to be not that friendly. I've numerously been thrown away by it.


No wonder that I did not see any other rider besides me.


As usual, the first stop should be the Information Centre.
