Trip to Warrnambool via The Great Ocean Road

I'm not sure how to start. Haha, maybe I'm a bit lazy to write so let the pictures tell the whole story of our adventure. A great one indeed (not for the faint hearted yer). So here goes nothing... (Mind my writing, I'm still learning to improve it)

We started our journey early in the morning as been stated in my previous entree. Arrived at Bells Beach at 6 AM and since it was still dark, we opted to stay there for awhile till the sun rises so that we can enjoy the journey along the Great Ocean Road. No point of venturing there if we can't see anything right.

This is where our journey really started. The much anticipated 'Great Ocean Road' (now I know why it's being named that). A first time experience for most of us.

Long and winding road along the coastal side of south-east Australia (I really need to upgrade my bike for me to travel here...One day...One fine day I will).

We made numerous stop along the trip to really enjoy the magnificent view. Same goes for those guys over there.

Still a long way to go before we can rendezvous with Malim's group. The meeting point is Warrnambool and it not even half of the journey yet.

Among our stop is Apollo Bay. There was a flea market being held here so we decided to do some 'window shopping' here.

The journey continues...

We even stop to see some wild koala bears. Cute sangat.

Our next destination is Port Campbell.

Someone disappeared on the 21st of October 1978... Hrmmm, that date really ring a bell...
It is someone birthday right??? Please raise your hand and say loudly "It's me" wherever you are... Kalau tak buat tak dapat hadiah... Hahaha...

This anchor is from "Eric the Red" so said the plate.

Inside the lighthouse. Some brief explanation about the function of it. Nowadays, most ships rely on GPS and others modern navigation systems.

View on top. Ship ahoy...

Finally we arrived at The Twelve Apostles... The epitome of our journey.

Dud dud dud dud (the sound of the rotor blades, more or less)... Don't want to miss it for the whole world... After some brief discussion (and some klentong or white lies, whichever you prefer to call it) we got some good discount for the heli ride... Haha, courtesy of Messup...

Ready to lift-off ??? Yup, I'm ready...

View from afar.

Noticed the 'Sea Horse' formation???

Nice weather and no nasty gust or whatsoever.

Behold, some of the 'Twelve Apostles'

This is our pilot. Abu kot nama dia...

Time to land. One more trip bleh??? Nak kena bayar lagi??? Errr, kalau cam tu...Thanks ajer la...

Clear skies... It's been raining before that.

A tad dark isn't it? Haha, been tweaking with the camera's set-up (Don't blame me, I'm still new with this DSLR sort of stuff).

Yadda yadda yadda, Warning??? Who cares... huhu...

A rainbow??? There's supposed to be a pot of golds at the end of it being guarded by a Leprechaun...
Is it true??? Who knows... You need to jump off the cliff for you to find it out... Haha...
Geronimooooo...

To be continued... Again???

P/s Speaking of Leprechaun, I got a friend from Ireland working together with me at Pancake Parlour (takes me quite some time to understand his thick accent) and he said that there is no snow in Ireland. Hrmmm, I didn't know that... Dush, that is what you get for dropping Geography in your SPM examination...
