Free Foods

By the way, this happen before Ramadhan (lucky me).
Today, 1st of September 2008.
- Selamat menyambut Hari Kemerdekaan yang ke-51 di Malaysia (it is a public holiday in there).
- First day of spring.
- First day of Ramadhan al-Mubarak.
- Internet connection are back to normal again.

As usual, the best things in life are free. If there's a crowd, it's must be because of the free foods. So, just follow the crowd.


Got free drinks too.

P/s Not much progress for my project yet. BTW, got a phone call from my supervisor asking me whether I would like to 'change' my current project topic or not.

Lil Saigon... Part II

Went to Footscray last Saturday to buy some groceries. Yeah, my supplies are running low so I went there with Malim. At first we decided to go there with my bike but then we changed our mind, we take the train instead. Haha, wise move (I didn't realized that I bought a lot of stuff and for sure it was impossible to carry it with the bike).

They even got 'Ikan Sepat' here. Macam best but its quite expensive. Maybe next time.

Nak lagi sedap??? Tambah ajer 'shredded cheddar' kat atas macaroni tu.

Breakfast tadi dah makan Mac & Cheese, so for lunch, i need something more filling... So, i decided to go to Footscray to buy some halal meat...

Tadaaa, made myself a BBQ steak. For some extra flavour...just add mixed herbs.

I marinated the steak with Coles Barbecue Sauce and some drops of Mint Sauce. (This time around, i don't marinate the steak with Kicap Cap Kipas Udang yer...)

As for the question from our friend Mr. Bud... Technically speaking, nope, the shops here...they don't sell 'Kicap Cap Tiga Udang' nie (kalau ader sesaper yang jumper...please let me know)...but i bought a dozen (yup, you heard me right...12 pcs) of this 'kicap' from a guy at Malaysian Hall but too bad he's not around anymore... (tak tahu dia cilok kat mana)

p/s For dinner??? Huhu, i had pancake, as usual... macam dah jadi makan ruji la pulak...

Rezeki jangan ditolak

Haha, i am really lucky today. Malim invited me to come to his place and have lunch with him today. He is making Salami's Pasta and i end up helping him in preparing it. Still a novice in cooking, haha, i overcooked the salamis or in other word, 'hangit skit'. But for me, it was still delicious. Later that day, a friend of mine wanted me to accompany him to a friend 'open house' near the city. For sure, nie mesti rumah awek, kalau tak...takkan ajak teman punyer. I am still full but like all the people used to say, 'rezeki jangan ditolak, musuh jangan dicari'. So, lets go...

Lost...luckily i got my navigator. Huhu, still need to find some clearing, if not definitely can't get any gps signal (i am standing in the middle of the road just to get the signal and notice Man waiting patiently at the other side of the road)

First day in Uni...

What to do???? Actually it's been 2 weeks since my Uni opened. Really looking forward for this semester. Azam baru la katakan. What's best when new semester open is..."free food". Yup, you heard me right, free food. Haha, a friend of mine used to say that the best food for him is when it is free. Don't know whether i can agree with him or not.

Got two choices, either chicken or vegetarian meal... of course i opted for the vegetarian.

Long queue as usual when it's come to free stuff.

Even they are giving away free ice-cream.

Bila dah kenyang baru boleh mula study. One thing that i learned from my last semester about assignment or project is to immediately borrow the relevant books even though the assignment is supposed to start at the middle of the semester. Don't wait until the last minute or you might end up empty handed. Just when the lecturers gave you any hint about what topics you are suppose to do, straight away borrow it.

I'm still not sure when will i start reading all of these books. (Nyesal lak bawa beg kecik that time)
