Force of nature

For the second time in my life, i was nearly being knocked down by the gust of wind...hehe, the first time is when i walked behind a C-130 Hercules during her ground test in Airod. Today i received this in my mailbox...huhu, i got no classes on Wednesday so it doesn't effect me whatsoever. If only it happen tomorrow...hehe, so i don't need to submit my assignment that is due tomorrow...

	Wed, Apr 02, 2008 -- Swinburne_Communications: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ** Severe weather alert for all campuses - staff and students are advised to remain indoors** This official mail has been authorised by Dr Michael Thorne, Executive Director, Chancellery Due to extreme wind damage across Melbourne, staff and students are advised to remain inside buildings where possible. In particular, John Street and Wakefield Street have been affected by falling debris. Please also exercise great care when returning home this evening. The Bureau of Meteorology have issued the following warning and are also advising people to stay indoors: Motorists are advised of extremely windy conditions during today with gusts of between 100 and 130 km/h. This will be followed by a period of rain late this afternoon and evening with a squally westerly change. Hazardous road conditions are expected to result. Driving conditions may be difficult or hazardous.
